Start with the published prices
The starting figures provide a useful entry point rather than a fixed package. Two cakes with the same number of tiers can involve very different amounts of work.
Tasting boxes start from $35. The final cake price reflects the agreed size, finish, flavours, decoration and handover arrangement.
Servings and tiers are separate decisions
Guest count affects how much edible cake is needed. Tier count also changes the appearance, internal support, transport and setup.
Tell us whether cake replaces dessert, is served in smaller pieces after dinner, or sits beside other desserts. The serving plan can change the required size considerably.
Handmade detail adds time
Piping, sugar flowers, modelled toppers, colour matching, metallic details and sculpted pieces are completed by hand. A simple surface with one focal detail requires less work than decoration across every tier.
Fresh flowers can reduce sugar work, but they still need suitable varieties, preparation, timing and clear responsibility between the florist and cake maker.
Delivery is quoted from the real venue details
Delivery and setup depend on the venue address, parking, supplier access, stairs or lifts, the setup window and the time needed on site.
Send the full location early. A nearby venue with difficult access can require more setup work than a farther venue with straightforward loading and a ready cake table.
